One client, several cards
Before the same customer sits in 1С/BAS under several spellings, and his debt is split between the cards.
After duplicates are merged before the move, and in QuickBooks the customer has one card with all his open invoices.
→Move the books of your company abroad from 1С/BAS to QuickBooks Online in stages: customers, products and services, open invoices and payments go across
Some owners keep the books of a company abroad in 1С/BAS simply because the Ukrainian side has always used it. 1С/BAS is on the official prohibited software list, and for a company registered in the US, Canada, the UK or Australia QuickBooks Online is a natural next step. One thing first: Intuit's materials list regional versions for Australia, Canada, France, India, the UK and the US and mention no Ukrainian edition, so QuickBooks does not keep the books of a Ukrainian company — this page is about the company whose accounting is kept abroad. We move it in stages: we look at what is really in 1С/BAS, clean out duplicates, make a trial load and let both systems run side by side until the figures match. Below: what we carry over, how the move goes and which QuickBooks capabilities we rely on.
Before the same customer sits in 1С/BAS under several spellings, and his debt is split between the cards.
After duplicates are merged before the move, and in QuickBooks the customer has one card with all his open invoices.
Before a customer pays three invoices with one transfer, and after the move nobody knows which of them are closed.
After the payment is applied to all three invoices in QuickBooks, and nothing hangs as unpaid.
Before after a move nobody is sure which invoices were paid before it, and reminders go to customers who have already paid.
After open invoices are moved on one date and reconciled with the accountant, so reminders go only to those who really owe.

BAS products are on Ukraine's official list of prohibited software (Cabinet resolution №1335 of 22.10.2025, based on Presidential Decree №601/2024 of 02.09.2024). The direct ban applies to the state sector, critical infrastructure and systems processing state information resources.

Source: its.bas-soft.eu ↗ checked 2026-09-25In QuickBooks an invoice is a sales form where the customer pays for a product or service later — exactly what a CRM deal turns into.
Source: developer.intuit.com ↗ checked 2026-09-27A payment in QuickBooks can be applied to several invoices of one customer at once, so one incoming payment can close several deals in the CRM.
Source: developer.intuit.com ↗ checked 2026-09-27Items in QuickBooks are the products and services a company buys or sells; they become the lines of an invoice, which is why we build the CRM catalogue on them.
Source: developer.intuit.com ↗ checked 2026-09-27Intuit's test companies for developers come in regional versions for Australia, Canada, France, India, the UK and the US — the markets QuickBooks Online is built for.
Source: static.developer.intuit.com ↗ checked 2026-09-27The limits come from both systems. QuickBooks Online is built for the US, Canada, the UK, Australia and a few other markets; Intuit's materials mention no Ukrainian edition, so we move into it only the books of a company kept abroad, and the Ukrainian side of the business stays with a Ukrainian accounting program. The QuickBooks documentation we rely on does not describe a ready import of a 1С/BAS database, so the data is exported from 1С/BAS through its open exchange interface, prepared and loaded step by step. Intuit limits how many requests one company can receive per minute, so a long history is loaded as a queue rather than instantly. If the connection is not used for 100 days, the owner has to confirm access again. 1С/BAS is on the official prohibited software list: we do not take projects for state bodies, critical infrastructure or systems with state data, and with private businesses we discuss the risk openly.
