Debet Plus is a Ukrainian accounting program made of separate parts: ledger and balance sheet, bank and cash, stock, payroll and fixed assets. The vendor presents it as an alternative to 1C/BAS. There is no ready button to move a 1C/BAS database: the switch is done by entering opening balances with a consultant. Data goes in and out of Debet Plus as files, and that is where we help: we prepare the balances from your old base and set up regular file exchange with the bank, reporting and other programs.

Limits
The vendor does not describe an open programming interface, so data is exchanged with Debet Plus through files: bank imports in, exported reports and tables out. Exporting to an arbitrary format needs an ODBC driver. Multi-user work with user rights is available only in the network version. The site does not describe a ready tool for moving a 1C/BAS database, so the switch goes through opening balances; we agree with you which balances and reference lists to carry over.

Questions
Can our 1C/BAS base be moved into Debet Plus automatically?
The vendor does not describe such a tool. The switch is done by entering opening balances with a consultant. We speed it up: we export balances and reference lists from 1C/BAS, check them and prepare tables for entry.
What can Debet Plus take in without manual typing?
On the vendor site: payment orders and statements from client-bank systems. For other data we check with you what the program accepts in your version and prepare files in that form.
Can figures from Debet Plus go to other programs?
Yes. Reports come out in Excel, Word, text and XML, and data can be exported to .dbf, .mdb and XML. We pick these files up and pass them on to your tables, dashboards or other services.
Does Debet Plus work with reporting programs and cash registers?
Yes. The vendor states that reports are prepared for M.E.Doc and other reporting programs, and the trade solution works with the Cashalot software cash register.
